New Business Manager - India
About The Job
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded New Business Manager to join our growing global business development team in India. This role is designed for someone who wants to develop deeper expertise in B2B sales within a highly regulated life-sciences environment.
You will support new client acquisition across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, ATMPs, medical devices, and cosmetics, working closely with senior leadership, marketing, and operational teams to progress opportunities from initial engagement through to proposal and handover.

We support global clients across clinical development and post-marketing environments, delivering safety, medical, regulatory, and compliance-focused services.
Due to continued expansion, we are strengthening our commercial capability in India. This position is fully remote within India and provides exposure to international clients and global commercial strategy.
Role Overview
As a New Business Manager, you will contribute across the full business development lifecycle, including prospect identification, opportunity qualification, bid preparation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth transition into delivery.
You will work within a collaborative, globally integrated commercial function, ensuring activity is aligned with strategic objectives and delivered consistently across regions.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage prospective clients across pharma, biotech, ATMP, device, and cosmetic sectors

Support the development and execution of strategic sales plans

Conduct due diligence on prospective clients, including stakeholder mapping and service scoping

Assist with proposal development, pricing support, and bid submissions

Analyse bid outcomes to support continuous commercial improvement

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective handover and delivery

Track and report sales activity, market trends, and competitor intelligence

Attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential

Strong organisational skills and self-discipline

Confident written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Good IT literacy and willingness to learn regulated systems

Willingness to travel when required
Desirable

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline

Experience in B2B sales, ideally within regulated or specialist services

Exposure to pharmaceuticals or life sciences (training provided)
