About The Job
We are looking for a commercially experienced New Business Manager to join our global business development function and support growth across the US market.
This role is designed for a self-sufficient commercial professional who is comfortable owning client relationships, driving new business conversations, and representing a specialist CRO within a competitive, regulated environment.
You will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, and operational teams to identify, qualify, and progress opportunities across pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, ATMPs, medical devices, and cosmetics.

Role Overview
As a New Business Manager, you will take ownership of business development activity within the US market, managing opportunities from initial engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and handover to delivery teams.
You will act as a key commercial representative for PharSafer, ensuring consistent positioning, professional engagement, and alignment with global strategy.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities across the US life-sciences market

Build and maintain strong client relationships with pharma, biotech, and related organisations

Lead commercial discussions, opportunity qualification, and proposal development

Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing, service scope, and bid responses

Support contract discussions and transition of new business into operations

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities

Represent PharSafer at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events

Provide regular reporting and commercial insight to senior leadership
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential

Proven experience in B2B business development or sales within life sciences or regulated services

Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work independently and manage a regional pipeline

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to travel within the US as required

Existing right to work in the United States
Desirable

Experience within pharmacovigilance, CROs, or safety-related services

Established network within pharma, biotech, or medical device sectors
